Ramadan 24hr Challenge
Join Luton Foodbank’s unique campaign this Ramadan, a 24 hour day challenge to raise awareness and support for food insecurity and homelessness in our community.
About the Challenge
This Ramadan, we are taking part in a 24-hour challenge to better understand the struggles of those facing homelessness and food poverty. We will be fasting and sleeping rough to gain first-hand insight into their daily hardships.
The challenge begins on Friday, 7th March at 5pm, when we will prepare our Iftar outdoors using only the items from a single food parcel. After prayers, we will start a series of challenges, highlighting the difficulties many in our community experience.
Our Objectives
- Raise awareness about food insecurity and homelessness.
- Encourage community participation in charitable activities.
- Support local initiatives by creating food
- Fundraising Goal: Each participant aims to raise £500 to help provide food parcels.
