We have to be strict about this, for obvious reasons. Donated items that are past their use-by date will never be used in a food parcel. If you're having a kitchen clear-out, we ask that you only donate items that are at least two months short of their use-by date.
We generally ask that all donated items have a long shelf life (i.e., the "use-by" date is at least two months away). We cannot store fresh fruit/vegetables, or any items which need to be kept in the fridge or freezer.
You can donate money in many ways, including several online services. You can opt to apply Gift Aid to your donations, which increases the amount we receive at no extra cost to you.
You can also set up a standing order for regular donations.
