Do you use real names and pictures of clients?

The short answer is "No, of course not!"

The privacy of our clients is extremely important, not least because the prospect of being splashed all over social media would put people off accepting help in the first place.

We very occasionally use a genuine photo or name, if the person concerned has actually asked us to. Even then, we stand ready to remove the material if they change their minds. In all other cases, we use stock photographs, end we ensure details of a story are changed to protect anonymity whilst preserving the salient facts.

Anyone who needs a food parcel can rest assured their details will not be made public.
