Here are some fundraising ideas. If you're planning a large event, please contact us for advice and support.

Jumble / Bring-and-buy Sale
If you and your friends & colleagues have enough unwanted items in your attic, a jumble sale is an easy way to raise money for Luton Foodbank. Increase fundraising by arranging a larger venue and charging people for setting up stalls.
Cake Sale / Bake Sale
Anyone with a flair for baking can sell cakes at a respectable profit in aid of Luton Foodbank.
Coffee Morning
Coffee mornings are simple to arrange and can range from intimate living-room affair packed-to-the-rafters church/school hall.

Sports Match or Tournament
If you're in a local darts team or five-a-side squad, why not raise charity funds as you play! Luton Town Football Club is running just such an event: A five-a-side tournament.

Sponsored Silence (Great for schools!)
Silence is golden - especially when it's raising money to help hungry people.

Guess the baby (Great fun at the office!)
This old favourite is always good for a laugh at work. Participants pay a small entry fee and add their baby photo to a board. Everyone else tries to match the entrants with their cute (or othersise!) pic.

Non-uniform Day
A favourite of ours! Kids bring a pound to school, and wear what they like. Several Luton schools have already helped our work in this way.

Pub Quiz
The pub part is optional, of course. Any venue large enough to host some quiz teams in comfort is great. Now you just have to think up some tough questions!
Go Extreme!
Staff from Luton Town Football Club organised a charity sky-dive in aid of Luton Foodbank. What daredevil exploit tempts you? Remember to be safe always!
