A network of warm, friendly spaces for people in Luton is opening this winter, thanks to Luton Council, working with local voluntary and community groups.
Warm spaces are places where anyone can find a safe, accessible and warm environment during the day to help keep the bills down, while at the same time accessing help, support, friendship and the opportunity to learn new skills.
There is a variety of offers available at different locations, where residents can
- access classes
- chat with neighbours
- access free wi-fi
- have a hot drink or food
- or simply read a book.
Use their online interactive map to find your nearest warm space: map.foodfirstluton.co.uk/map
You can also use the same map to find various forms of food support such as getting a hot meal or a food parcel, attending a cooking class, accessing a food pantry or finding your nearest food growing scheme.
