A very helpful and mature group of Year 5 and 6 pupils travelled to the Foodbank warehouse to volunteer their time. As you probably remember, Chantry organised a huge food collection not too long ago to help the Foodbank and this was a great opportunity for the pupils to see first-hand where their donations went to.

Whilst there, the pupils had the chance to stock-take, sort the food into the correct areas of the warehouse and then make up food parcels for both children and adults (which turned into a bit of a treasure hunt around the warehouse, trying to search for the right foods!). The pupils had a brilliant time and were willing to do anything whilst there- they really worked their socks off!
