A time of plenty?

The weather is getting colder. This is the time of year we may want to turn on the heating. The nights are drawing in, so we'll need to turn lights on earlier. Imagine having to choose between giving your child dinner and giving them light to do their homework. Imagine having to choose between feeding yourself and heating your home. Sadly, these dilemmas are a reality for many people in our town.

How you can help.

There are four ways you can help:

  • Donate two or three items of non-perishable food at a food drive or one of our drop-off locations
  • Use our website to donate money online
  • Organise a food collection at your school or place of work/worship. (If you need advice on this, please contact us.) To promote your food drive, you might like to print one of our posters. Click an image below to download.
  • SHARE SHARE SHARE! Share this page on social media, and add a link to this page in your email signature.
